What’s the festival all about?
Our biennial Arts Learning Festival celebrates the importance of the arts in education. Independent Schools Victoria, representing almost 220 schools, hosts the festival, and we invite all schools from all sectors to take part. The program reflects our festival theme of ‘unlimited imagination’, and has deep connections to the classroom, allowing educators to use the festival to deliver the curriculum
When is the festival?
We’ve held the Arts Learning Festival in 2017 and 2019. In 2020, we are holding festival events, including our Student Poetry Competition and Student Film Festival. Find out more by visiting the Upcoming Events section of the homepage.

Photography and video
We take photographs and video during the festival for promotional purposes. If you do not want to be photographed or filmed, please let us know ahead of the event so we can ensure it doesn’t happen.
