All Victorian students are invited to take part in our festival short-story competition with a twist – selected entries will be available on vending machines that dispense short stories.
We launched the competition and unveiled our Short Edition story dispensers at a special event at the State Library of Victoria.
Acclaimed author John Marsden gave students from Korowa Anglican Girls’ School and Erasmus Primary School a writing masterclass. The students got to try our short story dispensers, choosing from one, three or five-minute stories.
Ausdance Victoria taught the students The Big Dance, which will close our festival on our Community Day on Saturday 4 May. And we also unveiled our Community Day program, with free and bookable events.
