How VTS boosts thinking skills – art explorers at the NGV

When your students look at a work of art, what do they see?

Viewing artwork as part of a Visual Thinking Strategies (VTS) session will take them on a journey of discovery.

Sara Egan, from the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum in Boston, has been working with a group of teachers that will run VTS middle year student workshops as part of our art explorers at the NGV days.

In our latest video, she explains how VTS delivers remarkable improvements in a student’s critical thinking skills. Some places are still available for this full day of art activities at the NGV. Find out more and book here.
