Student Poetry Competition 2026 Finalist: I Love Durian

I Love Durian

by Oliver Khoo, Great Ryrie Primary School
Foundation – Year 2 Written Poetry Finalist

Durian is stinky,

And super duper spiky.

But I still love it because it’s

Super yummy, yummy, yummy.

Durian is stinky,

And it’s also squishy, squishy, squishy.

But I still love it because

My daddy loves it too.
