Moon
by Savannah Metagesha, Hume Anglican Grammar
Years 3 – 4 Written Poetry Finalist
As I look up at you,
Shimmering in the gloom,
Amongst the stars
You are the brightest and boldest.
Neil Armstrong, the first man to step foot on your sparkling craters.
Legend has it you’re made out of cheese –
I don’t believe it though.
Moon, I think if I had a choice to go to any place I wanted to
It would definitely be you.
