Feelings Fruit Salad

Most people say life’s a rollercoaster ride,
With ups and downs, we feel inside.
Sometimes we laugh, sometimes we cry,
And that’s okay, we don’t have to know why.
Sometimes you feel sweet, happy, and bright,
Like a banana, full of delight.
With a big warm smile and a heart full of cheer,
You spread your happiness far and near.
Sometimes you feel together, like grapes in a bunch,
Growing close together through dinner or lunch.
They stick side by side, never alone,
Showing us friendship wherever we roam.
Sometimes you feel loving, like a cherry so red,
With kindness and warmth in the words that you’ve said.
Cherries stick together, side by side,
Just like love that we carry with pride.
Sometimes you feel strong, like a rockmelon too,
Standing up tall in all that you do.
Be brave and believe in the things you can be,
For you can achieve what you choose to see.
Sometimes you feel sour, like a grumpy lime,
Angry and frustrated from time to time.
It’s okay to feel angry, it’s okay to feel blue,
Every emotion is a part of you.
Sometimes you feel gloomy, like a blueberry blue,
With a heavy heart and sadness too.
But clouds will pass and skies will shine,
And brighter days will come in time.
When life gives you lemons, don’t let them stay,
Turn them to lemonade and brighten your day.
Look for the good and let positivity grow,
Remember, difficult feelings will come and go.
Life is a fruit salad, colourful and sweet,
With different emotions that make it complete.
The sweet and the sour, the happy and blue,
Are all little flavours that make life you.
So embrace every feeling, both bitter and sweet,
For every experience makes life complete.
Enjoy every flavour, whatever you face,
And make the most of life, at your own pace.
Life is a fruit salad, with every feeling a flavour,
And even the sour moments can help us savour
The sweetness of life and the joy that we find.
Embrace every feeling and keep hope in your mind.
