The Big Dance

Suitable for

Families, children all ages

Join a free Big Dance workshop and be a part of Arts Learning Festival 2019’s closing performance.

Following the success of Big Dance across Australia in 2018, Ausdance Victoria will be running two free Big Dance workshops, followed by a mass performance as part of Arts Learning Festival’s Community Day on Saturday 4 May.

The Big Dance is choreographed by acclaimed choreographers Frances Rings and Craig Bary, with original music by Huey Benjamin. This beautiful choreography has elements of Indigenous Contemporary Dance, and carries the theme of unity.

The sessions are open to all ages and abilities. No dance experience required.

Come along your family and friends for a fun time.

What to bring: red t-shirt/top, bottle of water, and wear comfortable clothing and shoes.

This is an inclusive event. If you have access or interpreter requirements, please get in touch.
