My School Fruit Bowl

Years 3 – 4 Performance Poetry Finalist
Prep was a sweet berry, small and bright,
Exploring new places with pure delight!
Year 1 turned into a soft and fuzzy peach,
Finding best friends within easy reach!
Year 2 a crunchy apple, crisp and bright,
Solving big problems and getting them right!
Year 3 a sweet melon, messy and fun,
Laughing all day in the golden sun!
And now Year 4 a pineapple with a crown of green,
I think tough on the outside, yet the bravest you’ve seen!
