The Growth of Art

The growth of art,
Like planting a delicate seed.
Sketching a part.
Fruits need roots to grow.
Canvas, brushes, paint,
soil, sun and water
Getting started,
watching it grow.
Things take time,
things take patience.
Watch your creativity blossom.
Let your ideas grow.
Growing more leaves.
Some thin, some small.
Outlining the sketch.
Just trust the process.
But one wrong stroke,
the plant could die.
Finally, coloring.
Fruit start to appear.
Wonderful bright colors.
Red, orange and yellow.
Beautiful swirls and strokes.
Sweet looking fruits.
A few finishing touches.
And it is done.
Pick off the fruit.
Months and months of challenging work.
That first bite…
Tastes exquisite.
