He will provide senior secondary students of music and technology (and their teachers) with insights into how music composition plays a central role in screen-based productions, whether it be film or gaming experiences.
Mark will give students and teachers an insider’s guide to composition for the screen to:
- Unpack the processes behind composing and recording for motion picture.
- Explore career pathways that can assist students to imagine how their studies of music can find a wider audience through the screen, big or small.
About Mark Buys
Mark Buys is a composer of music for the modern orchestra, specialising in music for film, TV and documentaries. Internationally in demand as both a composer and orchestrator, Mark is a craftsman of music for the screen.
His original music, orchestrations and performances, as a guitarist, are heard worldwide on an expanding list of studio and independent productions.
