Student Film Festival 2020: And the winners are…

Today we’re pleased to announce the winners of our Student Film Festival 2020.

After four weeks of online screening of 23 finalist films, the votes are in for the People’s Choice awards in our four categories: Year 12, Year 11, Middle Years and Junior Years.

 

We’re also announcing creative and technical awards in each category judged by professional filmmaker David Swann.

Year 12

A huge thank you to our fabulous student filmmakers, their schools and families. And big thanks also to our online audience of almost 4,000 over the four weeks of the festival, hosted on our Arts Learning Festival website.

 

ISV Chief Executive Michelle Green said the finalists had displayed skill and creativity in the techniques they used and the themes they addressed.

 

‘All of the finalists show ambition, maturity and great individuality in the way they have produced their engaging films,’ she said.

 

The film festival returns next year as part of our Arts Learning Festival.
